Following on from the successful delivery of over 62,000 food caddies to the residents of Bolton Council, Assist has completed the delivery of a further 57,000 food caddies on behalf of Bury Council, a fellow member of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA).

At the start of October, Bury Council changed the way they collect household waste in an attempt to recycle more and reduce the amount of waste going landfill. As part of these changes indoor food caddies were delivered to residents over a three week period.  

Dave Pascoe, Waste Management Officer at Bury Council commented ‘The distribution of food caddies and liners to 57000 properties in the borough was delivered very professionally and on time, the attention to detail and the customer service provided was first class.’
